Over the course of the two-day event, the Technology Transfer Unit held meetings with various stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem with the aim of identifying potential synergies, opportunities for collaboration and development pathways for technologies arising from research activities.
One of the areas of work addressed was the search for investors and accelerator programmes that could contribute to the development and market uptake of projects with potential for application and commercial exploitation. This provides an opportunity to explore new avenues for advancing the process that connects results obtained in the laboratory with their potential application in the healthcare and business sectors.
