  • The meeting, focused on Clusters 1 and 2 of the Horizon Europe programme, brings together R&D&I managers to strengthen the quality of European proposals.

The International Project Management Unit of FISEVI (UGPI) has taken part in the 10th Seminar organised by the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT), held in Ávila on 27th, 28th and 29th October 2025.

The seminar was aimed at R&D&I management staff from European project offices in universities, technology centres, public research organisations and other entities with the capacity to disseminate knowledge.

The objective was to equip participants with the necessary skills to effectively advise the research community in preparing proposals for Cluster 1 (Global Challenges) and Cluster 2 (Industrial Competitiveness) of Pillar II of the Horizon Europe programme. Particular emphasis was placed on the Impact section, with a view to improving the quality and outcomes of submitted proposals.

Throughout the sessions, attendees combined theoretical and practical activities. Among these, cluster-specific workshops encouraged active participation, interaction with experts and programme committee representatives, as well as with the National Contact Points (NCPs).

For FISEVI’s International Project Management Unit, participation in this event represents a strategic opportunity to:

  • strengthen its understanding of Horizon Europe calls and enhance its advisory capacity for researchers;

  • establish connections with other project offices and programme experts, reinforcing European collaboration networks;

  • improve the quality of the proposals it manages or supports, thereby increasing the likelihood of international success.

The presence of FISEVI’s UGPI at this seminar highlights its commitment to the internationalisation of research and innovation, as well as its determination to position itself prominently within high-level European funding calls.
