The Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena , the Instituto de Biomedicina de Sevilla, and FISEVI are promoting INNODATA, a pioneering conference on effective information management and evaluation for improving healthcare

The event will be held starting today at the Hogar Virgen de los Reyes  and will address issues related to smart hospitals, surgical innovation, and personalized and precision medicine.

The Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena (HUVM) is holding the second edition of the INNODATA conference today, Wednesday, 24th September, and tomorrow, Thursday, 25th September, a meeting focused on innovation in the management and evaluation of healthcare data. This forum, already well-established due to the positive impact its content is having on healthcare, will feature national and international experts from industry, research, healthcare, public administration, and universities, among other fields.

The main objective of this scientific event, coordinated by the Innovation and Data Analysis Unit of the Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena, is to showcase the latest trends in healthcare management and evaluation, with an emphasis on the innovative use of health data.

The aim is to clarify some of the challenges and opportunities posed by the use of data for research, innovation, management, and healthcare evaluation. Notable topics to be addressed include smart hospitals, innovation in surgery, and personalized and precision medicine. Technology transfer and evaluation in healthcare will also be discussed. Some challenges posed by the use of healthcare data that will also be addressed at this pioneering event include: Health Technology Assessment, Healthcare Management, Data Spaces, Research, Experiences with Artificial Intelligence, Humanization, and Healthcare Innovation.

One of the objectives of the 2nd INNODATA Congress, which will also address the latest advances and experiences in the use of Artificial Intelligence in routine healthcare, is to serve as a forum for collaboration and exchange that allows participants to develop new strategies. The goal is to make the most of healthcare data for the benefit of disease prevention and patient care.
