Dr. Marcin Balcerzyk has founded CT Provision SLU with the aim of developing and marketing a medical device (SaaS) that includes innovative technology for the diagnosis and prognosis of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a serious and rare disease that affects the brain and can be fatal.

This tool analyses, through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the images of the computed tomography (CT) of the patient’s brain and, together with clinical data, helps to predict how the disease will progress.

This spin-off is based on a technology that was born within a project between the University of Seville, the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBiS)-FISEVI, through the collaboration of Dr. Egea Guerrero, from the UGC of Intensive Care of the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital (HUVR).
