This workshop represents a key step toward more strategic, innovative, and resilient public procurement, built on interterritorial collaboration and the experience gained during the health crisis.

The event took place at the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBIS), organized by the Provincial Purchasing Center of Seville, which acted as host. The aim of the meeting was to evaluate proposed recommendations and strategies for Spain in the field of public procurement, as well as to share lessons learned during the pandemic.

The workshop was opened by Salud Rivero, Director of the Provincial Purchasing Center of Seville, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the role of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) as the leading entity of the work package, whose conclusions will serve as the basis for the final recommendations to the European Union.

The session was moderated by Reyes Carballar, project manager, and featured the active participation of professionals from the Aragon Health Sciences Institute, the Navarrabiomed Biomedical Research Center, and the Andalusian Emergency Medical Services (061), creating a valuable space for discussion and the exchange of experiences.
