The Cámara de Comercio de Sevilla and the Fundación para la Gestión de la Investigación en Salud de Sevilla (FISEVI), in collaboration with the  Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena, have signed a framework agreement to carry out joint scientific and technical cooperation activities. They have also joined forces to exchange information that may be of interest to these entities and to lay the groundwork for future agreements on R&D&I projects.

The Manager of FISEVI, José Cañón, signed the agreement alongside Francisco Herrero, president of the Cámara de Comercio de Sevilla. The collaboration is defined within the framework of the lines of research in digital health and data analysis developed by the Innovation Unit of hospital, coordinated by Alberto Moreno.

In addition, these entities will collaborate on the communication and dissemination of the 2nd Congreso Nacional en Innovación para el Avance en la Gestión y Evaluación de Datos Sanitarios, INNODATA 2025, to be held in Seville in September. INNODATA will be a space to present the latest trends and advances in healthcare management and evaluation through the innovative use of health data, whether obtained in a controlled manner as part of clinical trials or research registries, or those obtained during clinical care activities.
