Our colleague Elvira Cruces, from FISEVI/IBiS Technology Transfer Unit (OTT), has participated once again in the Transfiere 2026 Forum, which began yesterday and is being held from February 24 to 26 at the FYCMA-Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Malaga.

Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology, and Innovation, is the leading professional and multisectoral meeting in Spain aimed at promoting knowledge transfer and collaboration between the research community, the business sector, and public institutions. This year’s program brings together representatives from the business sector, institutional leaders, and leading speakers in innovation, financing, and R&D&I policies, addressing the main challenges and opportunities of the innovation ecosystem.
During the opening day, the FISEVI OTT team, together with IBiS, actively promoted the scientific capabilities and technological portfolio of its research groups, as well as the identification of innovative solutions of interest to the productive sector. This presence reinforces the institution’s position as a key player in the transfer of research results to the market and in the generation of new opportunities for public-private collaboration.

Elvira Cruces from FISEVI/IBiS Technology Transfer Unit (OTT) with her colleagues from INiBICA/FCADIZ and ibs.GRANADA/FIBAO Clara Malagón and Paula Castro.
Participation in Transfiere has also facilitated the exchange of experiences with other transfer offices in the health and scientific fields, including INiBICA/FCADIZ and ibs.GRANADA/FIBAO, contributing to the strengthening of professional networks and the identification of possible future synergies.
Through its participation in this strategic forum, FISEVI reaff irms its commitment to innovation, the valorization of knowledge, and the promotion of strategic alliances that contribute to economic and social development through biomedical research.
