The International Project Management Unit of FISEVI has organised two sessions to raise awareness of the opportunities offered by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) for research staff.

The first session was held in person on Monday, 28th April at the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBiS), and was aimed at researchers from IBiS. The second session took place online on Wednesday, 30th April, and was co-organised with the Fundación Pública Andaluza Progreso y Salud. It was primarily targeted at staff from the Andalusian Public Health System (SSPA).

Both sessions, presented by our colleague Esther Guirado, a specialist from FISEVI’s International Project Management Unit, aimed to showcase the various funding schemes offered by this prestigious European programme, which is part of the Horizon Europe initiative. During the events, the key aspects of participating in MSCA calls were outlined, practical advice was given on how to prepare competitive proposals, and experiences were shared by researchers who have previously benefited from these grants.

With this initiative, FISEVI reaffirms its commitment to supporting research careers and to seeking and attracting competitive European funding, thereby facilitating access to resources that drive scientific excellence in the fields of biomedicine and health.
