From 7th to 10th April, 2025, the Fundacion para la Gestión de la Investigación en Salud de Sevilla (FISEVI) participated in the 30th European Union (EU) R&D&I Project Advisors Seminar, organized by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación (CDTI) and held in Segovia.

Our colleague Rosana Herrera, a technician from the International Project Management Unit, was responsible for attending this technical and strategic event, which serves as a national benchmark for the analysis, updating, and strengthening of project advisory and management capabilities within the framework of the Horizon Europe program and other European R&D&I initiatives. The participation of FISEVI in this meeting is part of its firm commitment to excellence in health research management and to actively promoting the acquisition of competitive funding at the European level.

Over the course of five days, various important aspects were addressed, highlighting:

• New developments and thematic priorities of the Horizon Europe program.
• Keys to preparing proposals and forming consortia.
• Proposal evaluation, criteria for excellence and impact.
• Practical scenarios for preparing proposals and generating networking between entities.

The presence of FISEVI in these types of forums contributes significantly to the continuous improvement of European project management processes, the exchange of best practices, and strategic alignment with European Union innovation policies.

Furthermore, this training strengthens our commitment to the internationalization of biomedical research and improves the efficiency of obtaining and managing European funds for the benefit of Andalusian citizens.
