Our colleagues Alba Hoyos and Elvira Cruces, from the Technology Transfer Unit, and Guillem Vicente, from the International Project Management Unit of FISEVI, attended the Al Andalus Innovation Venture 2025 event, held on 24th and 25th September 2025 at the Pabellón de la Navegación in Seville.

In this edition, FISEVI joined as an Ecosystem Partner, thereby fostering a collaboration aimed at positioning Seville and its research community as an active part of the national and international circuit of innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of health research.

During these sessions, FISEVI’s representatives had the opportunity to:

  • Establish synergies with startups, scaleups and investors.

  • Exchange experiences and explore collaborations in the field of open innovation with companies in the sector.

  • Contribute to the Andalusian ecosystem as a facilitating actor in bridging science, business, and public and/or public-private capital.

The Al Andalus Innovation Venture 2025 brought together leading speakers and organisations, with a focus on strategic sectors such as artificial intelligence applied to healthcare, the development of sustainable solutions, and the digital transformation of healthcare provision. Conferences, startup pitches and round tables provided a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the innovation system, underlining the importance of strengthening collaboration between science and business to generate real social impact.

By taking part in such events, FISEVI, through its management services, continues to advance its mission of being a key driver of health research and innovation in Andalusia, contributing to positioning Seville and Andalusia as benchmarks in biomedical research at both national and international levels.
