AMR EDUCare project reaches a new milestone with the “Train the Trainers” event

The AMR EDUCare project continues to advance in its goal of combating antibiotic resistance with events such as the organization of the “Train the Trainers” event, which took place on September 5th and 6th, 2024.

The event, held with the support of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS), was structured in two intense days that began with the presentation and welcome to the attendees. After this brief introduction, professionals from renowned entities gave presentations in which they delved into the challenges and advances around the AMR EDUCare project and antimicrobial resistance, a problem that continues to be one of the greatest threats to global public health.

During the sessions, key points were discussed, such as:

-The optimization of antimicrobial prescriptions to ensure effective use.

-Reduction and management of antimicrobial waste for a healthier environment.

-Empower the patient population through strategies.
